Lawyer, Douglas Colt has fond memories of his college years at Washington University in Saint Louis, MO.

Douglas Colt attended Washington University on an academic scholarship and was a resident of Liggett Hall during his freshman year. In 1994, he became active in the student government and won a seat on the Student Union Senate.

The following year, he founded the Campus Programming Council, which is now the highest-funded student group at Washington University. He headed the farewell ceremonies for Chancellor William H. Danforth and took an active role in the inaugural welcoming ceremonies for Chancellor Mark S. Wrighton.

Douglas Colt was elected Student Union Treasurer in 1996 and graduated with honors in 1997, earning degrees in both Economics and Political Science. He was the recipient of the Sally E. Strain scholarship and was keynote speaker at the annual alumni awards ceremony in 1996.

Today, Douglas Colt is an associate at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart Oliver & Hedges where he specializes in Trademark, False Advertising, Copyright, Unfair Competition, Trade Secret, and Commercial Litigation.
